Abstract
The study is devoted to the search for tools to ensure safe and failure-free operation of lifting and transport equipment, which requires the implementation of effective diagnostic methods and automated systems for monitoring its technical condition.
It is noted that condition-based maintenance based on the prediction of residual life is an economically and technically feasible strategy.
The purpose of the study is to substantiate the choice of vibration diagnostic methods as a basis for the development of automated monitoring and control systems for the technical condition of rotating units of lifting and transport equipment.
The paper presents a comparative analysis of non-destructive testing methods.
Particular attention is paid to vibration diagnostics as a predictive method that makes it possible to detect the development of typical defects (imbalance, misalignment, bearing and gear faults) based on deviations of vibroacoustic signals.
An analysis of domestic and foreign scientific and technical literature on vibration diagnostics is carried out; sources of vibration in lifting and transport equipment are identified; factors affecting its technical condition are determined. It is noted that for the analysis of the obtained vibroacoustic data, a set of parameters of the diagnosed object and decision rules is formed. It is shown that the establishment of decision rules for parameter selection makes it possible to determine the type of defect and predict the time to failure. Modern tools for analyzing vibroacoustic data and the possibility of integrating vibration monitoring systems into automated process control systems and production systems are considered. The expediency of using vibration diagnostics for automated assessment of the condition of critical units of lifting and transport equipment is demonstrated.
